Bleu Perez to Represent Guam in Doha

September 26, 2019- Doha, Qatar

Guam National Team sprinter Bleu Perez will represent the island at the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar. 

Perez will compete in the 100m sprint on September 27, 2019 (September 28 at 11:35 PM, ChST). He will run in heat 3, lane 5, alongside Micronesia neighbors, Scott James Fiti of FSM and Don Motellang of Marshall Islands. 

Perez is coming off his best season and recently ran a personal best of 22.51 seconds in the 200m sprint at the 2019 Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa. He is a 2014 graduate of Father Duenas Memorial School.
